Barn Wedding Geelong: Sarah + Tom
Sarah and Tom found Rocklea farm for their Geelong Barn wedding venue. Our barn was transformed into a rustic dining hall using all six of our five meter long, rustic farm house style tables and our black bent wood dining chairs. A delicious shared banquet feast was provided by Sixty-Three Degrees for their 110 guests.
Nikki Currie was the couples celebrant and the ceremony was held down at our big tree, just a 4 min walk through our grazing paddocks with the picturesque Barrabool Hills in the background. The couple decided on our classic white Americana lawn chairs for their ceremony furniture. Luke Legs played acoustic music during the ceremony while Ed Sloane worked his magic behind the lens taking some of the most beautiful wedding photos we have seen. Wildfolk Florist had the dusty pink florals and pampas grass arrangements sorted.
After the ceremony, guests made their way back to the venue for canapes and drinks in the courtyard before moving into the barn for the bride and groom announcement and seated main meal.
The guests were in for a real treat when the crew from “Curls and Swirls” set up their mobile icecream bar. Dessert set the mood for dancing the night away in our marquee before a sparkler send off for the new Mr & Mrs! One of our favourite Barn Weddings so far!
