Pip + Jammo’s Outdoor wedding venue Geelong
Pip and Jammo’s wedding was our last wedding we hosted in March 2020 before the Covid19 restrictions put a stop to large weddings in Victoria. With some minor adjustments, we were able to create arguably the most amazing outdoor wedding venue Geelong has!
The inspirational Jo Betz was the couples celebrant, the “I do’s” were performed in our paddock by our ancient river red gum. Our rustic arbour and classic white Americana lawn chairs were chosen for the couples ceremony furniture. Straight after the ceremony, Robbie Gibson Media started the couples wedding photos to reduce the amount of time they would be from their guests.
Guests ventured through the paddock back to the venue for drinks, canapes and lawn games on the lawn before reception started. Our marquee was a popular place for guests to pick up a refreshment from our pop up bar and shelter from the warm sun.
Original plans were to have all 120 guests seated for their main meal in our rustic barn, however new restrictions prevented that from happening. Luckily the weather was on our side and dining was moved to outside in the courtyard. Dining on our rustic farmhouse tables adorned with olive branches, under the stars and by festoon light, created the most magical scene for a truly memorable wedding!
A shared banquet style dinner was provided by the crew at Driftwood Cafe. Amanda from Smellies went above and beyond to make Pip and Jammo’s wedding extra special with the most beautiful floral arrangements.
Guests were warmed by our fire pit and toasted marshmallows after dinner while socialising. Pip and Jammo’s wedding dance got guests up and dancing in the courtyard, under the festoon lights celebrating Geelong’s newest outdoor wedding venue!
